Dispute resolution proceedings in front of a consumer arbitration board
We are not willing or obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings in front of a consumer arbitration board.
We work exclusively on the basis of the General German Freight Forwarder Conditions 2017 (ADSp 2017). In Section 23, the ADSp 2017 limits the legal liability for damage to goods in accordance with Section 431 of the German Commercial Code (HGB) in the amount of 8.33 SDR/kg per claim or per damage event to 1.25 million or 2.5 million euros or 2 SDR/kg, respectively depending on which amount is higher, and for multimodal transport including sea transport generally to 2 SDR/kg.
